Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I place my order?

Supplies may need to be ordered for your event, so please reach out to us as early as possible! We are experiencing a worldwide balloon shortage post-Covid, with some colors and sizes on backorder. The sooner we receive your order and finalize details, the better chance we have to provide you the design you desire most. Deliveries requested within 72 hours of the event date will be subject to a $50 Rush Fee.


Note: Your event is confirmed on our calendar when we receive payment information.    

How much do you charge?

The cost of your decor will depend on the size and style you choose. Check out our different decor categories to see sample pricing! We have a decor minimum of $250 on all orders, with Delivery/Setup/Pickup not included. If your order is over $2,000 and you prefer to pay by card, there will be a 3% Processing Fee added to the total invoice. This fee can be avoided if you pay by check.

Do you offer refunds? What if my event gets cancelled?

Once your event is finalized, that time slot is reserved for you and supplies for your event are ordered.  


IF CANCELLATION IS MADE 15 OR MORE DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT:

We will credit 100% of all money paid towards another event or rescheduled date within 6 months of the original event date. No refunds will be given. Credits are non-transferrable. Reschedule date is subject to availability. 


Additionally, changes to an order (colors, size, and style) cannot be made after invoice is finalized. If you need to order additional decor to what is stated on the invoice, please call our office ASAP at 205.841.4196 for availability. Thank you!
 

Can you blow up balloons I purchased somewhere else?

We prefer to use balloons from our manufacturers that we know offer quality latex made for decorators. If you have printed balloons, and we are decorating for your event, we can blow them up for a fee.  However, we can not guarantee the quality of balloons not provided by us. 

Do you deliver?

Yes! We save you time and deliver all our balloon decorations! Delivery fees depend on the delivery location, time of day, and the amount of decor being ordered. We do not have a storefront, so we do not offer walk-ins or "grab and go" decor.

What about sustainability?

One of the key things we want to highlight is that we primarily decorate using air-filled balloons, which are either latex or foil. These have a very minimal environmental footprint and our waste has little impact overall. 


In addition, we are members of two organizations that are dedicated to sustainability in the balloon industry: the Pro Environment Balloon Alliance (PEBA) and the Coalition for Responsible Celebration (CRC). These groups promote best practices for eco-friendly balloon use, and we adhere to their guidelines.


A few important facts to consider:

  • Natural Latex: The latex used in our balloons is harvested from rubber trees, which is a renewable resource. This makes our balloons a more sustainable option.
  • Litter Prevention: While we use natural materials, we are strongly committed to preventing balloons and their accessories from littering the environment. We have not supported or facilitated the deliberate release of balloons in over 10 years.
  • Proper Disposal: We go beyond other national retailers by ensuring that any helium-filled balloons are properly weighted when delivered, preventing accidental releases. We also offer a recycling service for our foil balloons and try to repurpose materials as much as possible. Additionally, we provide a pickup service for used materials for a small fee.


Our goal is to continue to provide beautiful and sustainable decor options, and I hope this information will help reassure you about the environmental considerations we take into account.


Fun Fact: In our decor, we use Sempertex balloons. In an effort to increase recycling, they have started making dog toys from scraps of latex that come directly from the manufactoring floor (basically, they use latex that didn’t make it past quality control to be a balloon!). We specifically use Sempertex as we know their brand is free from chemicals such as plasticizers that might harm someone’s health or their pet’s health. If you are interested in purchasing dog toys from recycled latex balloons, please let us know.

How long do balloons last?

Helium balloons normally last 12-18 hours indoors. For a small extra charge, latex balloons can be treated with a solution, making them last from one to four weeks! 


Balloons filled with air and kept indoors last so long, you'll end up popping them because you're tired of them! Balloons used outdoors are not guaranteed to last any specific amount of time as weather and changes in temperature affect the lifespan of the balloons. 

Are you a florist?

We used to have a brick and mortar store that provided daily deliveries of floral arrangements. We now work in a private studio and provide floral decor for events only. 


So, if we are decorating for your event, we can supply flower arrangements with your balloons decorations.
